African Moral Character and Creative Thinking Principles
A Publication of the Philosophers Association of Nigeria
Jim Ijenwa Unah, Coordinating Editor
The essays in these volumes emerged from the Lagos workshop and Akungba Conference of the Philosophers Association of Nigeria in 2018. They contain proposals preparatory for a nationwide curriculum workshop to process character training and creative thinking syllabi for primary and secondary schools and beyond. These proposals are a constructive response to the recognition of moral decay and crisis of character in average young people, the culture of lawlessness and impunity among highly placed members of Nigerian society, and the tendency to sleaze that beckons at every stratum of society.
