Dialectics and Humanism was established as a forum for all fields of contemporary Polish philosophy. It fostered discussion among philosophers of different orientations, with a focus on significant events in Polish artistic life, dialogue between Marxists and non-Marxists, the development of a model for the integration of all sciences, and reviews of important publications. The journal was published by the Polish Academy of Sciences.
