The Third Inter-American Congress of Philosophy was held in January 1950 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). This volume contains presentations from this Congress, that was also the ocasion for the UNESCO Round Table discussion of contemporary dangers to intellectual liberty. It was published in cooperation with the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, UNAM.
