The IX Inter-American Congress of Philosophy was held in June 1977 in Caracas, Venezuela. It was organized by the Sociedad Venezolana de Filosofía under the auspices of the Sociedad Interamericana de Filosofia, with support from the Organization of American States, UNESCO, and the Eugenio Mendoza Foundation. The proceedings contain all papers accepted and discussed at this Congress.
