ABOUT THE SOCIETY

Established in 1975, the International Berkeley Society promotes interest in the life and work of the philosopher Bishop George Berkeley. Anyone interested in Berkeley the man, the philosopher, the religious thinker, the economist, the mathematician, or the educational idealist is welcome to join. Its members include scholars from many countries, as well as residents of the State of Rhode Island interested in the history and culture of colonial New England.
